FAQ
FAQ
Twelve questions, twelve honest answers.
Does Fynder show every nearby place? #
No. Fynder hides results that lack the category, timing or quality information needed for a useful decision. Strong results come first; other viable options appear under “More options.”
How are places ranked? #
Fynder considers category fit, rating confidence, real travel time, arrival status and sourced local signals when available.
Why can a 5.0-rated place rank lower? #
Because the number of reviews matters as well as the rating. A 5.0 based on a handful of reviews is not automatically more reliable than a 4.7 supported by hundreds.
What does “More options” mean? #
These places are still real and viable, but Fynder does not present them at the same level as the strongest results.
What does “Open when you arrive” mean? #
Fynder evaluates travel time together with opening hours and expects the place to work at your estimated arrival time.
What happens when hours are unknown? #
Fynder does not guess that the place is open. The result shows “Hours not confirmed.”
Does Fynder analyse every review? #
No. Fynder never claims to read every review. It uses only the information and review samples supplied by the data provider.
Do I need an account? #
No. You can use Fynder without an account. Saved places stay on your device.
Where is Fynder available? #
The first release is being prepared for Istanbul on iPhone.
Does Emergency mode replace 112? #
No. Call 112 directly in a life-threatening or urgent situation. Fynder only helps you find suitable nearby medical or police services.
How is Emergency mode ranked? #
Emergency mode does not use ratings, editorial picks or personalisation. Results are evaluated by suitable facility type and real travel time.
Are there ads in Fynder? #
Strong first-screen rankings are not for sale. Emergency mode does not use ads or sponsored ranking.
